Barack “let me make this perfectly clear” Obama has made it “perfectly clear” to anyone willing to listen: Reality is “incomprehensible” to liberals.
“The violence at Fort Hood, President Obama told mourners Tuesday, was “incomprehensible.” The “twisted logic that led to the tragedy,” he reiterated, may be “too hard to comprehend.” If the Bush administration suffered a systemic failure of imagination on homeland security, the Obama administration is suffering a willful failure of comprehension.
What exactly is so hard to comprehend? Fort Hood jihadist Maj. Nidal Hasan made his means, motives and inspiration all too clear for those willing to see and hear.”

There is only one thing about the Fort Hood tragedy that is difficult to comprehend: The inability of Obama and his liberal cohorts, especially the left-stream media, to face the reality of the deadly evil, Islamic-jihad.
America is receiving a first-hand, painful lesson in the fundamental flaw in liberal thought [FFILT]: Not facing reality. And as Andy McCarthy said on National Review following the Fort Hood terrorists attack: “A country can't be protected by people who lack the will to face reality.”
The FFILT, not facing reality, lies at the bottom of all of the illogical, liberal approaches to increased statism and social engineering that is being pushed by the Obama administration. This is why we see huge governmental spending programs enacted, programs that we do not need and cannot afford. This is why we are seeing the current tyrannical ObamaCare push to enact government-controlled, socialized medicine. This is why we currently have Obama's fantasy foreign policy of appease enemies and insult allies. This is why America's enemies accurately view Obama as weak. This is why we just had the first terrorist attack on American soil (Fort Hood) since 9/11. With Obama in the White House, reality is not faced.
Liberals are idealists. They fear reality. They conjure utopias, then somehow convince themselves that the utopias will materialize, simply because they wish for them. Cause and effect, known consequences and unintended consequences never fit into liberal scenarios. For liberals, planning is all about wishing, not about actually doing; planning is all about good intentions, never about historically-known and logically-probable outcomes.
We have just witnessed one of the most dangerous aspects of FFILT: Political correctness. Political correctness is not about being polite. It is not about fairness. It is about not facing reality. It is completely about ideology...liberal and leftwing ideology. Political correctness is not benign, it is evil because it suppresses truth, and we have just seen a demonstration of that in the massacre of 13 people (12 soldiers and 1 civilian) at Fort Hood by an Islamic jihad terrorist, Major Malik Nadal Hasan. The warning signs were all there, yet were ignored:
“The warning signs were all there: the justification of homicide bombings; the spewing of anti-American hatred; the efforts to reach Al Qaeda ...
But the U.S. military treated Major Nidal Malik Hasan with kid gloves, even after giving him a poor performance review. And though he was on the radar screen of at least one U.S. intelligence agency, no action was taken that might have prevented the Army psychiatrist from allegedly gunning down 13 people and wounding 29 others in the Fort Hood massacre last week.
"There were definitely clear indications that Hasan's loyalties were not with America," Lt. Col. Val Finnell, Hasan's classmate at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Md., told FoxNews.com in an exclusive interview. He and Hasan were students in the school's public health master's degree program from 2007-2008.
"There were all sorts of ... comments made throughout the year that made me question his loyalty to the United States, but nothing was done," said Finnell, who recalled one class during which Hasan gave a presentation justifying homicide bombings.
"The issue here is that there's a political correctness climate in the military. They don't want to say anything because it would be considered questioning somebody's religious belief, or they're afraid of an equal opportunity lawsuit.”
"They should've confronted him — our professors, officers — but they were too concerned about being politically correct."
----
Finnell recalled Hasan telling his classmates and professors, "I'm a Muslim first and I hold the Shariah, the Islamic Law, before the United States Constitution."

Liberals refuse to acknowledge, or confront, the reality of evil. The only activity that they morally equate to evil is opposition-to-liberalism (usually conservatism), anything else receives some pantywaist admonition such as “don't jump to conclusions.” Even when a known Muslim, Islamic radical massacres 13 people in front of multiple witnesses, we are told by some “don't jump to conclusions.”
“President Obama honored the victims by immediately warning Americans not to "jump to conclusions" – namely, the obvious conclusion that the attack was an act of Islamic terrorism. As conclusions go, it wasn't much of a jump.
But the mainstream media waited for no information – indeed actively avoided learning any information – before leaping to the far less obvious conclusion that the suspect's mass murder was set off by "stress."”

What is evil?
The word evil can be used as two different parts of speech, either as an adjective or a noun. From the Merriam-Webster's Online Dictionary we find the following:
evil (noun): 1 a : the fact of suffering, misfortune, and wrongdoing
evil (adjective): 1 a : morally reprehensible : sinful, wicked <an evil impulse>
As in the above definitions, evil, in the Bible, is represented as something that causes harm or destruction or misfortune. It can be physical or it can be moral. The evil that I am talking about is moral evil. The essence of moral evil can be found in the motives of Satan, the father of evil, the father of murder and lies, as described by Jesus:
“The thief [a metaphorical name for Satan, the devil] comes only to steal and kill and destroy [emphasis mine]; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.”
– John 10:10 [NASB]
“...the devil...was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.”
– John 8:44 [NASB]
Moral evil is always accompanied by the triple impulses (even if not acted upon) of stealing, killing, and destroying, and any lie will be told, by those who are evil, in support of evil intentions. An apt description of Islamic jihadists.
The problem that liberals have with using the label evil is that it requires discernment, judgment, discrimination (drawing important distinctions between entities), and moral clarity. Liberals are uncomfortable with all of this. Why? Michael Ledeen in his latest book, ACCOMPLICE TO EVIL, IRAN AND THE WAR AGAINST THE WEST, answers the question “Why are we failing to see the mounting power of evil enemies?”
“...We comfort ourselves with happy thoughts about human nature, and we fall prey to the Devil's trick of fooling us into believing that he doesn't exist.
This dangerous conceit usually takes the form of the deep-seated Enlightenment beliefs that all people are basically the same, all are basically good, and we're making good progress to the ideal society [emphasis mine]. Machiavelli knew better: “Man is more inclined to do evil than to do good” is the starting point for his statecraft. Most human history, above all the history of the last century, points in that direction. But we reject the evidence. It is very unpleasant to accept the fact that many people are evil, and that entire cultures, even the finest, can fall prey to evil leaders and march in lockstep to their murderous commands.”

Political correctness results primarily from liberalism's “...deep-seated Enlightenment beliefs that all people are basically the same, all are basically good...” and hence, all people, and all cultures, and all value systems have equal worth. Hence, multiculturalism and political correctness.
America and the western world are engaged in a life and death struggle with radical, Muslim, Islamic-jihad Terrorists. Yet liberals, led by the Appeaser-in-chief, Barack Obama cannot bring themselves to correctly identify and label our sworn blood-thirsty enemies. In all of his comments concerning the Fort Hood murders, President Obama could not muster the candor nor the moral clarity to call Malik Nadal Hasan a terrorist, or to properly label as terrorism the cowardly massacre of 13 unsuspecting, unarmed victims.
“Natan Sharansky tells us that the basic lesson of his lifelong campaign for freedom is that for the oppressed in tyrannical countries, the primary challenge is finding the inner strength to confront evil; for those of us who live in free countries, the primary challenge is finding the moral clarity to see evil [emphasis mine]. We have a hard time reaching and sustaining that moral clarity.”

It is dangerous that we have a President who wishes to avoid reality.
It is catastrophic that we have a President who lacks the moral clarity to call out the evil of terrorism.
