The movie "Standing Firm" debuts on DVD on August 24, 2010.  The movie, from Praise Pictures, is a Christian drama about a widower named David who turns his back on God and ends his relationship with the church because he blames God for his wife's death.  His son, Steven, tries to reach out to his father in any way he can.  "Standing Firm" is a story of suffering, God's purpose in it, and being joyful despite it.  "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28)
