Looking forward to the upcoming elections, I have to look at the character of the candidates, as well as what they stand for.
And boy oh boy, is Joe Biden a character.
The King of Gaffe is yet again in a heap of trouble, after coming out and saying that he's "not second guessing" China's controversial one-child policy, during a recent trip to the Communist country.
"Vice President Biden is facing criticism after telling a crowd in China that he doesn't have a problem with the country's one-child policy. "
According to the article Biden was saying he agreed with the policy, but said it was "unsustainable" to be prolonged, due to the fact that you will have less children to eventually support the older members of society.
But now he's trying to walk it back.
A spokesman for the White House has stated:
“The Obama Administration strongly opposes all aspects of China’s coercive birth limitation policies, including forced abortion and sterilization."
Well Joe, what is it?
You see, if this were the first time Mr Vice President had misspoke, than I would be inclined to forgive his statements.
But it isn't.
Just a few weeks ago Politico reported that the Veep called members of the conservative Tea Party "terrorists", which he reportedly has denied saying, even though Politico has no fewer than three sources who were in that very meeting.
The Bottom Line is this: You can only walk so far before it becomes more difficult to walk back. And the VP is approaching the point of no return, to the WH that is.
