You and your AFA made the difference in October. Here's what you accomplished.

October 30, 2009

Here are some of the issues AFA called supporters to action on and, in some cases, scored victories on in the month of October.

  • Alerted you to Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe High School in Georgia for banning religious banners created and funded by cheerleaders. The girls used their own money to create the banners for home football games, the kind of banners players burst through as they come on to the field.
  • Brought attention to – and asked for the resignation of -- President Obama’s Department of Education Safe and Drug Free Schools czar, Kevin Jennings. Jennings is an activist homosexual and founder of the Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network (GLSEN), which pushes so-called "anti-bullying" policies which even GLSEN admits are really about promoting "affirmation" of homosexual behavior in the school system.
  • Offered free viewing of American Education - Do You Know What You're Paying For? at afa.net. The presentation was a two-and-a-half hour look at the issues that challenge Christians regarding the education of their children.
  • Provided proof that Obamacare legislation would use taxpayer funds to pay for abortions as it currently stands.
  • Promoted the on-going boycott of PepsiCo after its corporate officers served on staff for the homosexual Out & Equal Workplace Conference in October. (For all of what Pepsi is doing to support the homosexual agenda visit the website http://www.boycottpepsico.com.)

AFA continues to fight for the moral values that served our country so well for so long. We do so without apology. We continue to ask you to forward these action alerts to your friends and family. The more people we can get to join us, the more influence and victories we can have.

Please consider making a financial donation to support our efforts.  AFA is one of the few organizations being effective in the culture war.

In return for your gift of $75 or more, I want to offer you two gifts. One is a four DVD set called "Backyard Drills: football edition" featuring legendary NFL football coach Bill Parcells. This is the perfect Christmas gift for a son or grandson interested in football. It is a six-hour DVD set formatted in 15-minute teaching segments on all aspects of the game. The instructors are Christian athletes Anthony Munoz, Tim Brown, Daryl Johnston, Emmit Smith, Mike Singletary and Trent Dilfer. These gentlemen also share about the importance of good character and self discipline.

In addition to the "Backyard Drills," you will receive a special DVD about former Super Bowl champion coach Tony Dungy. It is called "Faith, Family & Football." Coach Dungy is known not only for his ability to coach football but more importantly for his public stand for Jesus Christ.

Make your donation now to support the work of AFA, or view the trailers of these special DVD gifts now!

Sincerely,

Tim
