On Veteran's Day: Our military personnel need to know you’ve got their back

November 11, 2013

On Veteran's Day, we salute those who have served and those who unselfishly continue to devote their lives to defend liberty.

Yet, the brave men and women who currently serve in the military need our help to defend their liberties!

Unknown to most Americans, political appointees in the Obama administration and senior officers inside the military, cooperating with civilian, anti-Christian and sexual activist groups, have radically changed military policy, training and culture.

Consequently, some in our military have endured hostility simply because they are Bible-believing Christians. They’ve been silenced from sharing their faith, forbidden from praying publicly in the name of Jesus, and dismissed from duty for refusing to approve of same-sex "marriage." Hear their own stories in their own words in this video.

You can read for yourself the unbelievable stories of religious persecution in Tony Perkins article: A Clear and Present Danger: The Threat to Religious Liberty in the Military.

On this Veteran's Day, I hope you will join me in defending religious liberty for those who serve in the military today.

Legislation has been introduced to rein in hostility toward religion in the military.

Contact your senators and representative and request that they pass the National Defense Authorization Act with the current religious liberty protections included.

Those serving our country need to know we’ve got their back. Please make your voice heard today by urging your elected officials to defend religious freedom in the military.
