Over 131,000 sign pledge to boycott The Home Depot

In less than three weeks, 131,000 people have signed an online pledge to boycott The Home Depot until it agrees to remain neutral in the homosexual culture war.  The pledge is posted at

The Home Depot has thrown its support behind homosexual marriage and the agenda of many gay activist groups to redefine "family."

AFA President Tim Wildmon said, "The Home Depot has said it is committed to advancing homosexuality in the public square and will continue to do so, even if it goes against good business practices."

The Home Depot has sponsored multiple gay pride parades and festivals by sending representatives and employees as participants in the events.

"Every person that signs the boycott pledge represents more than just one lost customer,” Wildmon said.  “Each one represents an entire household who will take its home improvement business elsewhere. The Home Depot stands to lose its shareholders a lot of money, because it has lost the focus on its primary business purpose."
