Because you give, here are some of the major areas through which your gift makes a difference:
- OneMillionMoms.com and OneMillionDads.com provide information to television advertisers that helps companies know which television shows are antagonistic toward family values. Many companies have changed advertising practices as a result of information we provide.
- The AFA Foundation is the office responsible for all donor relations at AFA, as well as helping supporters and friends select the best means of supporting the work of AFA now and in the future by leaving a legacy through planned giving.
- The AFA Journal, with 180,000 subscribers, and www.afa.net provide information to help citizens be informed on issues so they can participate more intelligently in the public arena, from their hometowns to the national level.
- Through our 180 stations, American Family Radio (AFR) airs programs that inform listeners regarding moral issues in our culture, and music that inspires and encourages listeners.
- AFA often partners with other groups to meet critical needs of some of the world's most needy. For example, AFR has given an entire day's air time to urge listeners to "adopt" a needy child through Compassion International.
- OneNewsNow.com is AFA’s online news service that provides news and commentary from a Christian perspective 24 hours a day. Stories originate from AFN and The Associated Press.
