The following letter was sent to David Caton, who wrote GM, asking them to stop advertising on the 24-hour homosexual LOGO television network.

March 25, 2008

Dear Mr. Caton,

Your March 7 e-mail to Rick Wagoner regarding Saturn's and Cadillac's sponsorship of the film "Adam & Steve" on the LOGO channel was forwarded to me, and I would like to respond to your concerns about this programming.

We appreciate your feedback regarding this film. As you know, GM maintains a corporate policy regarding our media selection and placement activities that is aimed at ensuring we advertise on programming that is consistent and compatible with the image of our brands and our business needs.

"Adam & Steve" is a romantic comedy about a gay couple who had a disastrous date in the 1980s and then meets again and begins a romantic relationship, not initially remembering the original date from 20 years ago. The film does not have an anti-Christian storyline. Given that this film aired on the LOGO network, which is widely know to offer content oriented for a gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender audience, we feel comfortable with our decision to advertise during LOGO's broadcast of the film.

Thank you for letting us know how you feel.

Sincerely,

Jon Brancheau
Director Media Operations
