Same Sex Marriages

In the attempt to normalize the homosexual lifestyle the homosexual community has framed their debate around victimization and discrimination in the workplace. By attempting to equate sexual behavior with true minority status, such as race and gender, the homosexual community always bases their arguments on being discriminated against and victimized by the heterosexual community.

The terms homophobia, gay, diversity, and intolerant are used to divert attention describing the actual sexual behavior involved. This same type of reasoning is used by companies that provide Domestic Partner benefits for their employees based on bedroom behavior of their homosexual employees. The companies never describe the bedroom behavior of those employees that are granted Domestic Partner benefits.

Discrimination against homosexual employees is rare, according to Out magazine, a national gay publication. A feature article in the October, 1998 issue admits "...the odds of experiencing employment discrimination are slight."

The ultimate goal of homosexuals is the legalization of homosexual marriage as seen from the information taken from The Marriage Project, of the Lambda Legal Defense and Education Fund web site.
