Movie Gallery Stores Raided; Clerks Charged for Selling Porn

American Family Association encourages you
to join the boycott of Movie Gallery!

Movie Gallery is the nation's top video rental chain that rents and sells hard-core sex videos.

Many of the company's stores nationwide offer hard-core pornographic movies, often found in "back rooms." A majority of the rest display pornographic videos next to children's videos.

Movie Gallery carries many popular titles in their stores, but behind the "public" image, Movie Gallery makes millions of dollars from videos of despicable sex acts.

Many base Movie Gallery's financial empire on the fact that they charge up to $5.00 for sex videos, allowing them to rent regular movies for as little as 99 cents.

AFA has documented the atrocities endured by employees and managers, plus stories by parents of children who have been exposed to hard-core porn in Movie Gallery stores.

Read articles of corporate giants who have pulled their association with Movie Gallery, along with warnings from health officials.

Because many citizens are now fighting back and working with local law enforcement agencies, Movie Gallery is being forced to shut down their "back rooms" to avoid obscenity prosecution.

In other towns, Movie Gallery is covering sexually oriented videos because of state laws prohibiting their display to children. As one former district manager in Mississippi stated, "They (Movie Gallery officers) know they're violating the state laws. Where laws are enforced, Movie Gallery abides by them. Otherwise, it's business as usual."

Now, more than ever, it is time for Christians to be salt and light in their communities. "We've seen a number of changes by businesses that deal with porn. When Christians get involved in fighting this social menace, companies clean up their act," says AFA Chairman Don Wildmon.

AFA encourages you to join the boycott and take the following action:

Please call Movie Gallery's toll free number: 1-877-325-8687. Let Movie Gallery know you do not do business with pornographers.
