May 15,
2006 Quilting/Sewing Circle Forming The NW Arkansas Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgendered Community Center is making a necktie quilt and looking for people that know how to quilt, or would like to learn how. We are making a large quilt out of neckties that did not sell at the Garage Sale. The quilt, once completed, will be auctioned off at a raffle to raise money for the NWA GLBT Community Center. You do not need experience to help with this quilt. We will teach you how to do it. We will meet regularly to work on the quilt and to socialize. We will most likely meet in Rogers, AR at the home of one of the members of the Community Center. If you would like to join the NWA GLBT Community Center "Sewing Circle", have quilting supplies to donate, or have neck ties that you would like to donate to this project, or know someone who does, please contact: Jaggie at jagkit@cox.net dfsd |
