Some North Carolina republicans are caving to an agenda of a lame duck Obama Administration and radical homosexual activists. Gov. Pat McCrory, Senate leader Phil Berger, House Speaker Tim Moore, and others plan on repealing a bill tomorrow, HB2, that protects women and children from sexual predators in public restrooms and dressing rooms.
But you can do something to stop the repeal of HB2.
Contact your state legislator NOW. Strongly urge them not to repeal HB2. Tell them not to go back on their support of keeping your wife and children safe from sexual predators in public restrooms and dressing rooms.
If HB2 is repealed, cities in North Carolina have already promised they will work with homosexual activists like the Human Rights Campaign to enact ordinances that jeopardize the privacy and safety of your family.
According to Charlotte’s Dec. 19 resolution, they could enact a new ordinance threatening citizens’ privacy rights as soon as the General Assembly repeals HB2. The Charlotte Council stated:
“[I]n the event that the North Carolina General Assembly grants or restores the authority of the City to enact ordinances on the matters that were the subject of the pre-empted and invalidated ordinances, the City Council could enact new ordinances.”
This clearly indicates that the City of Charlotte will seek to enact another freedom-killing, privacy-compromising ordinance that would be just as egregious if not more so than the one the General Assembly already addressed this year.
