Typically and historically, a new president's choices for cabinet positions are confirmed by the Senate without much fanfare. After all, it's the respectful and honorable thing to do.
Sadly, some Democrats in the Senate have promised a vicious and relentless fight against some of president-elect Donald Trump's cabinet nominations. And the hatred already spewing from their left-wing supporting groups is only encouraging strong bi-partisanship against what’s best for the country.
The first battle against Trump's nominees begins tomorrow. President-elect Trump has nominated Alabama Senator Jeff Sessions for Attorney General. Sen. Sessions' credentials make him an excellent choice to ensure our nation's laws are enforced equally and honorably.
It's time America has a fresh start at the Justice Department...one that respects the Constitution and protects religious freedom in America.
Don't allow a few angry and noisy naysayers to sidetrack the confirmation of good people to positions of public service to the American people.
