How can we protect women from abuse if we won’t even protect their right to private spaces? Privacy protections for women-only spaces aren’t about comfort—they’re about safety, dignity, and basic rights.
Texas lawmakers need to hear from you today! The state legislature has less than 30 days to pass the Texas Women’s Privacy Act during the special session.
Call and email your Texas House and Senate members and tell them to pass HB 32, sponsored by Rep. Valoree Swanson; and SB 7, sponsored by Senator Mayes Middleton.
Women and girls should never be forced to undress, shower, or use the restroom in the presence of males. These are deeply private moments, and every woman—and especially every little girl—deserves the right to safety, modesty, and protection from exposure. For decades, our laws have respected sex-specific spaces—from locker rooms and bathrooms to prisons, shelters and sports.
But that’s now being threatened. Letting males into women’s spaces is unsafe and strips women and girls of their rights to privacy and freedom.
The vast majority of Americans agree: biological sex matters in private spaces. When policy ignores reality, it creates confusion, violates trust, and places women and girls at risk.
It’s time for Texas lawmakers to draw the line and defend biological reality, women’s privacy, and basic common sense.

This is about safety and dignity.
Call, email, or visit your legislator now and demand action on HB 32 / SB 7.
