There is a dimension to this fall’s election which may be the most important of them all, but few people are talking about. And that is if Democrats retain control of the Senate, President Obama will have two more years to pack the federal bench with radical leftist judges. Since Harry Reid abolished the filibuster, conservatives would have no way to stop him.
If Republicans take control of the Senate, and stick together, they can block all of the president’s radical nominations. The president has already managed to pack the D.C. Circuit of Appeals, which means he’ll get the ruling he wants on ObamaCare and tax subsidies for those who buy insurance through the federal exchange.
