How Are You Using Your Christmas Buttons?

The Christmas season is finally here and one way we like to express our joy for Christmas at AFA is through our Christmas buttons. It has been a tradition of ours for several years that we offer buttons that say "Merry Christmas." There are many anti-Christian groups and people who believe the term "Merry Christmas" should not be used. But as Christians, we believe that Christmas is a season and a specific day to recognize the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The AFA Christmas button has been an instrument of encouragement for those who stand for the celebration of Jesus Christ and His willingness to humble Himself to take on the nature of a servant, live a perfect life and then die in the place of sinful men.

The AFA Christmas button has been used as a evangelism tool as well as a button. But who would have ever thought it would become a Christmas tree ornament? A long time supporter of AFA, Paul Allen had this wonderful idea. What a fantastic idea! He also plays Santa each year for his local community and as Santa he offers everyone an AFA Christmas button. It is very uplifting to see evangelist Paul Allen take such a small gift and multiply it in such a large way. What are some creative ways you can use the AFA Christmas button to spread the good news about the birth of Jesus and the real history behind Christmas?
