Ecclesiastes 3:1 “To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven”

We have all heard and maybe even quoted this verse when things are either going bad or when things are confused. We have come to a desperate time that God’s people must pray. American Family Association sent out a recent alert asking all who received it to pray for clarity and wisdom for those who are presenting the argument against same-sex marriage and for natural marriage. Also pray that those who will be presenting the case for the redefinition of marriage to have confusion and difficulty. Finally, pray that the Justices will have wisdom and foresight as they hear the case and that those who have a Christian world view will be strong in their discussions with the other Justices.

May this issue bring the followers of Christ to our knees, as we pray for our families, churches and nation. If the “…effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much” (James 5:16), can you imagine what will happen when millions of believers come before the throne of God in humility and faith?

Join millions of other believers this Sunday and then again Tuesday as we petition our God for His favor on our nation. “God be merciful to us and bless us, and cause His face to shine upon us. That Your way may be known on earth, Your salvation among all nations.” (Psalm 67:1-2)
