Washington, D.C., Mayor Muriel Bowser and her radical task group DCFACES are recommending the federal government "remove, relocate or contextualize" numerous historical monuments and statues they say represent "a long history of systemic racism."

According to FoxNews.com, among the historical figures named on the list are former presidents George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, James Monroe, Andrew Jackson, and Woodrow Wilson. The list also includes Founding Fathers Benjamin Franklin and George Mason, inventor Alexander Graham Bell, and composer of the national anthem Francis Scott Key.

These monuments do not belong to the city of Washington, D.C., and they certainly don't belong to the mayor and her hand-picked group of anti-American extremists.

These patriotic and inspiring symbols of our nation belong to the American people – you and me! But there are some "woke" members of Congress who would vote to take them away from the very ones who put them in office.

Democratic House leader Nancy Pelosi has already removed several historical paintings and statues from the Capitol at the behest of her liberal colleagues. There is no reason to believe that she would not attempt to lead Congress to implement the mayor's recommendation to remove more historical monuments.

Email your Senators and Representative today! Urge them to soundly reject Washington, D.C., Mayor Muriel Bowser's suggestion that the federal government "remove, relocate, or contextualize" our nation's historical monuments, statues, and memorials, including the Washington Monument, the Jefferson Memorial, and the Benjamin Franklin Statue.
