Protect Women's Sports

Protecting women’s sports is a growing state legislative issue due to a transgender executive order signed on Inauguration Day.  It included the sentence, “Children should be able to learn without worrying about whether they will be denied access to the restroom, the locker room, or school sports.”  Already, more than a dozen states across America have passed or are considering passing bills to rein in an overreach of federal power that fails on science and common sense.

The Mississippi Senate recently passed the Mississippi Fairness Act (34 yeas, 9 nays) to protect children from President Joe Biden's transgender executive order. His order allows boys, claiming to be girls, to compete in girls' high school and college sports.

It's now time for the Mississippi House of Representatives, having a Republican supermajority under the leadership of Speaker Philip Gunn (R), to pass this legislation and send it to Governor Tate Reeves to sign into law.

President Biden's order allows nothing less than cheating and will ruin women’s sports. It's about to happen in Mississippi unless state representatives pass the bill out of committee by March 2 and pass the bill on the House floor by March 10.

This issue affects all states and all women who compete in sports so it is coming to your state soon.

Mississippi residents are encouraged to tell their representative to vote for the Mississippi Fairness Act (SB2536) and prevent Biden’'s transgender order from taking effect in Mississippi and prevent bullies and cheats from ruining women's sports.

Contact and urge your representative to pass the Mississippi Fairness Act. In sports, biology matters; it is why we have women's sports in the first place. When we ignore biological reality, women get hurt. Allowing males to compete in women's sports will mean the end of women's sports. We will have men's sports and co-ed sports. That isn't the level playing field women deserve.
