DAILY STAND EMAIL
Friday, September 30, 2022 @ 09:12 AM AFA Action Helped Overturn Roe v. Wade Tim Wildmon President MORE

Did you know that God used AFA Action leadership to overturn two of the most wrongfully decided U.S. Supreme Court cases? On October 13 at 6:00 PM CST, you are invited to join a special episode of afa@HOME hosted by Walker Wildmon, VP of Operations for AFA, where you will have an exclusive opportunity to hear for the first time a never-told story about how God used AFA Action’s leadership team to help overturn Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey. Our online video series is afa@HOME which addresses the core values of the American Family Association and is designed to inform and equip you and your family in your daily walk.

In this episode, Rob Chambers will share how he helped ‘get out the vote’ (GOTV) that led to the 2016 election of Donald J. Trump—the president who nominated three judges to the U.S. Supreme Court who would eventually overturn Roe and Casey. You will hear the never-told account of how God used Chambers and AFA Action team member, Phillip Jauregui, to ensure the nomination of Amy Coney Barrett, over far less qualified candidates, as Justice to the U.S. Supreme Court.

In addition, Dr. Jameson Taylor, Director of Government Affairs for AFA Action, will share for the first time how God used him to help draft, introduce, and shepherd Mississippi’s 15-week abortion ban through the legislature and signed into law. This is the law that became known as the Dobb’s case that was used to overturn Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey.

“The pathway leading to the monumental decision of reversing nearly a half-century of bad precedent set by Roe v. Wade in 1973 was not mere happenstance,” said Rob Chambers. “It was a long hard road, with each step planned carefully and prayerfully to ensure the end result was a victory for life.”

Together this team was instrumental, working for years laying the groundwork for what would become a watershed moment in American history – the Supreme Court of the United States overturning Roe v. Wade, among other important religious liberty decisions in its 2022 session.

You will also hear from AFA’s Abraham Hamilton, III in a discussion about understanding abortion theologically, politically, and judicially.
