A precious gift has been given to American parents once again by the Supreme Court, in sidelining the California law allowing schools to secretly enable children to dress and identify as the opposite gender without parental notice.
Along with the Mahmoud decision last year, the parental rights’ affirmation in Mirabelli should put schools on notice to stop messing with the souls, health, and futures of impressionable children.
So wouldn’t this SCOTUS ruling call into grave question the existence and activities of “gay-straight alliances” in schools across America? Focused on normalizing and propagandizing curious students about all things “LGBTQ,” these clubs may go by other names: a “genders and sexualities alliance,” “Spectrum,” a “Pride” club, or more recently, “rainbow” clubs in elementary schools.
Yes, you read that right. After thoroughly penetrating middle and high schools throughout the country, clubs to socialize children into homosexuality, bisexuality, and transgender ideas and behaviors are popping up in numerous grade schools across America.
My question is two-fold: how can we eliminate these in-school, often secretly-attended corruption/grooming societies? And can’t we apply the parental rights/religious freedom findings of both Mirabelli and Mahmoud to extracurricular activities in schools, like these clubs?
Indoctrination into “gay” life and gender-switching is what these clubs are all about. Just as an example, the Los Angeles Unified School District has “rainbow clubs” in many elementary schools and even publishes an activity guide.
The guide tells us, “Rainbow clubs are inclusive spaces for elementary students to explore LGBTQ+ related topics. Using art, books, games, and other activities, students can build confidence, self-awareness, and community. Rainbow clubs contribute to a safe, affirming, welcoming, and healthy school environment.... Parent notification is not required for any student club participation (emphasis added).”
“Most Rainbow Clubs meet during lunch,” the guide says. And students are told, “Share what you learn but respect people’s privacy.” What happens at the club stays at the club, apparently.
Recommended lessons include defining all the “LGBTQ+” labels, explaining pronouns, exploring gender identity, validating grade school physical attraction to the same sex, “LGBTQ”+ liberation/social justice activism, standing up against verbal bullies (those who make derogatory remarks), learning “LGBTQ”+ history, and the benefits of going to a “pride” parade.
One of the tools recommended in this guide for the history lesson is a video (produced by leftist AARP, by the way) on “LGBTQ” history that includes the “contributions” of Frank Kameny, Alfred Kinsey, Harry Hay, and Harvey Milk! All of these adults were child/teen predators and/or supporters of child/adult sexual relationships. And of course, the Stonewall riots and the Act Up organization are presented as heroic, and hate crime policies as valid and necessary.
Throughout California alone are numerous school districts with elementary school rainbow clubs, including Oakland Unified, which has implemented a transgender student “support” plan. Parents are not to be notified about a student’s social transition to the opposite sex with the student’s consent. Such policies have been implemented in many schools nationwide and hopefully rescinded in light of the new SCOTUS ruling.
Other California districts with rainbow clubs are Palm Springs and San Mateo-Foster City Schools , where they partner with the radical “Welcoming Schools” program of the Human Rights Campaign. And in San Francisco Unified Schools’ Harvey Milk Academy, they have rainbow clubs “open to 2nd-5th grade students of LGBTQ+ families, trans or non-binary students and allies.”
Elk Grove and North Hollywood, CA had parent protests over rainbow elementary school clubs in recent years.
But it’s not just California. Every elementary school in Cambridge MA has a rainbow club. “Activities vary by school and grade, but include things like designing their own pride flag, creating pronoun or pride keychains or bracelets, or reading books to learn about the LGBTQ+ community.” Massachusetts Family Institute has reported elementary “gay” clubs exist in many other schools in that state, including East Longmeadow, Billerica, Arlington, Ashland, Newton, and Framingham.
In Minneapolis, Anoka Middle School for the Arts (grades 6-7-8) has a gay-straight alliance with a signup questionnaire suggesting they will deceive parents if needed about the child's participation in the club.
Denver Public Schools brags that they now have GSA clubs in several elementary schools. Libs of TikTok reported that Meadow View Elementary in the Eugene, OR area promotes a “pride” club for 9 -year -olds.
Montgomery County Schools in Maryland has rainbow clubs in several elementary locations. And a Fairfax County VA grade school rainbow club received negative publicity several years ago, as did a similar club in Pittsford NY .
It seems a no-brainer to remove homosexual/transgender clubs from elementary schools, period. But these clubs should exist in zero schools, K-12. They mislead students and encourage entry into sinful behavior with grave, often irreversible bodily harm. It is conduct that will separate them from God. ( Go HERE to learn more).
And given the Mirabelli and Mahmoud decisions, schools need to recognize the destructive impact of the promotion of “LGBTQ” conduct to students either in class or in any extracurricular activity, and remove all such messages. Even if a few parents approve, there are many who won’t.
We must remember that this is a clash of opposing worldviews, and the one that affirms homosexuality and gender deviance is the wrong one. No amount of affirmation, relabeled sin, phony hate accusations, harsh medication or plastic surgery will make it right. Our children deserve to be guided toward the best, not settling for the dregs of human behavior.
Every school should take this opportunity to shut down GSA and rainbow clubs, period, so that every student is protected from harmful deception.
Lives and souls will be saved.
