MONDAY

In A Box

Have you never heard?
Have you never understood?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of all the earth.
He never grows weak or weary.
No one can measure the depths of his understanding (Isaiah 40:28 NLT).

Have you put God in a box? Do you put human restraints on Him? I don't think we can ever overestimate how big God is! Our imagination can't even begin to comprehend His love, grace and mercy.

Let God out of the box you have placed Him in. There is nothing that He can't do. Pray for His perfect will in your life. Let Him have control.

Dear Lord, my life is Yours. Come out of the box that I've placed You in and do Your wonderful works through my life. In the name of Jesus, my Savior, Amen.

TUESDAY

Help Needed

Help us, O God of our salvation! Help us for the glory of your name.

Save us and forgive our sins for the honor of your name  (Psalm 79:9 NLT).

Without God, we have no hope. With God, all things are possible.  Without God, we are doomed to eternal separation from Him and all that is good. With God, we are promised a fulfilled life on earth and a heavenly home that has no end.  Without God, we are lost with nowhere or no one to turn to. With God, we are found and loved beyond our human understanding.

Dear Father, hold us in your amazing arms and love us beyond our comprehension. Protect us and give us comfort in our struggles. Lead us and direct our paths. Scold us when we are bad children and welcome us back when we return to Your grace. Most of all, thank You Father God. Thank You for Your Son, Jesus Christ. I praise Your Holy Name. May Your glory surround us today. I ask and pray in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen.

WEDNESDAY

A Representative

Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. Remember that the Lord will give you an inheritance as your reward, and that the Master you are serving is Christ (Colossians 3:23-24 NLT).

No matter what you do as an occupation, remember if you are a Christian, you are representing Him. Yes, and especially, in a secular job, people are watching.

I've heard people say "oh, I don't go to church because I work with people that go to church and they live like hell and are hypocrites." We can't live like a heathen and not expect it to influence others in a bad way.

In all we do, do it as you are doing it for Jesus. By doing that, we will be blessed. Our goal should be to bless others and glorify our Lord.

Dear Lord, help us to be more like you, today than we were yesterday. Amen.

THURSDAY

Hating Sin and Loving The Sinner

Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good (Romans 12:9 NLT).

The challenge is to love everyone but to hate the sin that destroys people’s lives. Pretty simple and yet so hard to do. But thanks be to God for Jesus, through whom all things are possible.

Lord God, help us to be sold-out for Your mission for our lives. Help us to speak Your truth, in Your love. In Your name, I pray. Amen.

FRIDAY

Get Up and Dust Yourself Off

Fight the good fight for the true faith. Hold tightly to the eternal life to which God has called you, which you have confessed so well before many witnesses (1 Timothy 6:12 NLT).

Life can be a struggle but we are not to roll over and play dead. Get up, answer the bell and fight. Reflect on how God saved you from a life of destruction. Remember that all things are bearable with Jesus as our Savior. He specializes in conquering sin and life's issues.

Don't forget to praise Him and share the Good News of what He has done in your life. God wants no one to perish.

Father God, help us to answer the bell and get up and fight. Help us to know that we might not be capable but You, Lord, have already won the war for us. Lead us today in Your roadway for life. I ask and pray in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

SATURDAY

Our Faith Brings Endurance

I entrust my spirit into your hand. Rescue me, Lord, for you are a faithful God (Psalms 31:5 NLT).

Have you given your heart to Jesus? Have you really let Him into the center of your being, your life? Are you focused on Him each day?

He is faithful to us and will rescue us from the torment of problems and worries. No, He doesn't make them go away, but through His power, grace, mercy and love, He gives us the ability to endure. There is much more to life than sweating the small or large stuff of this world.

Father God, thank You for being our Rock, our Comforter and our Savior. I pray today for all those that have not accepted Your gift of Jesus Christ. I pray that their hearts will be touched by You, Father, and that You will become the center of their lives. I pray and ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

SUNDAY

Master Of Redirection

Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sin is put out of sight! (Psalms 32:1 NLT).

Are you tired of the guilt, sorrow and shame of the life you are living? Are you sick of the sin and the muck that is surrounding you? Is it time to turn your life around?

The answer is Jesus Christ. He accepts you as you are. There is not any need to try to get your life right before you ask Him into your heart. My reasoning is, without Jesus, getting your life right isn't going happen. Jesus is the master of redirection. Let Jesus redirect your life today.

Accept Jesus as your Savior, repent and let Him show you the Way. Through repentance and faith in Jesus, you are forgiven and you can put all of life's garbage in the dumpster and never look back. It is a God thing, a true blessing from our Lord. I know first-hand what He can do. He saved a broken, wretch like me and I'm no different than you. We all need a Savior.

Dear Lord, thank you for accepting us as we are, but loving us too much to leave us as we are. You, Lord, are the Light of the world. I pray that many will let Your Light shine into this dark and dying world. In Jesus' name, Amen.
