MONDAY
Only One True God
For there is only one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ.
I have been disheartened recently as I see more and more people posting about there being more avenues to a heavenly “afterlife.” They seem to believe, God, Allah, the millions of Hindu gods, Buddhist gods, etc., are all the same god. They apparently believe there are many roads to Heaven. Folks, it's just not true.
There is but one true God. He has a Son, Jesus Christ, our Savior. There is only one way to heaven and that is through God's Son, Jesus Christ.
I believe that there are many good people who don't believe this, but folks, good people die and go to hell everyday. Being a good person is great, but I pray not only that you are a good person but a saved person. Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). I believe in my Lord and my Savior and what He said. You will need to make your own decision. Have you opened your heart to Him?
The Truth: one God, three in one, Father, Son and Holy Spirit; one Mediator, Jesus; and only one way to heaven and that is through the Mediator, Jesus Christ.
Father God, open the hearts, eyes, and minds of those who refuse to see Your truth. In Jesus' name, Amen.
TUESDAY
Joy or Gloom
You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever (Psalms 16:11 NLT).
Are you living with the joy that God wants you to have? It's your choice: joy in Christ or the gloom of this world. You will never be more blessed than when you live in the light, love, grace, and mercy of God.
Lord God, help Your lost children see Christ's light shine, so that the same light might shine out of their souls for others to see. Amen.
WEDNESDAY
All Are Sinners
When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners. Now, most people would not be willing to die for an upright person, though someone might perhaps be willing to die for a person who is especially good. But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. And since we have been made right in God’s sight by the blood of Christ, he will certainly save us from God’s condemnation. For since our friendship with God was restored by the death of his Son while we were still his enemies, we will certainly be saved through the life of his Son. So now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God because our Lord Jesus Christ has made us friends of God (Romans 5:6-11 (NLT).
We cannot claim that we live without sin. We are all broken and all fall short of God's commandments. But, we have a Savior. That is the good news.
Do you know the saving grace of Jesus Christ? If so, are you sharing the truth of Christ with others? Are you withholding telling someone about the good news of Christ because you are afraid to confront them about their sinful lifestyle? Don't be. God has this under control. Just tell your story about what Jesus has done in your life, that is what God wants from us. Be a light for Him. Be His hands and feet.
Remember that we all sin. Our sin may be different than another persons sin, but sin is sin. It separates us from God who loves all of us and wants to have a relationship with all of His children. He gives each of us the free will to decide and make that decision. So we can choose Jesus or sin but we can't live with Jesus in our hearts and continue to live in unrepentant sin. Christ and sin cannot co-exist. Yes, those in Christ will sin from time to time but when it happens, a Christian should feel conviction and fall to their knees in repentance. We must go and do our best to sin no more. (read - John 8:1-11) Jesus doesn't save us so that we can continue to sin, He saves us from sin.
Love the sinner (this includes each of us) but hate the sin (that which separates us from our God). Jesus Christ won the victory over sin. He wins, thus we are also victors, not because of what we have done but what Jesus did for us.

Father God, thank you for saving us from ourselves by the life, death and resurrection of Your Son, Jesus Christ. He died so that we might live, so help us live like we are sons and daughters of Yours. Help us not to live as children of Satan. Help us to turn from our sin and live the life You have designed for us. I give You all the praise and glory. Amen.
THURSDAY
Walking in Brokenness
If we claim we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves and not living in the truth (1 John 1:8 NLT).
We are all walking around in our sin. If you think that you are not, you might take a better look at your heart. We all sin. The difference in a Christian and someone that has not found the saving grace of Jesus, is that those who are "in-Christ" feel the remorse of their sin and ask for forgiveness. They seek to do their best to not continue to live in that sin. Those who are living outside of Christ's light just try to convince themselves, and others, that what they are doing is really not a sin at all.
Father, we are all in need of a Savior to cover our sinful lives. Father God, thank You for meeting our needs through Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. I praise Your Holy Name. Amen.
FRIDAY
Forgiveness
“Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sins are put out of sight” (Romans 4:7 NLT).
There isn't a sin that we have committed that cannot be covered by the blood of Christ. Nothing can separate us from the love of Jesus.
So what do we have to do to be covered by His grace? Believe in Him, have faith that He is our Savior, repent of our sins and come humbly to the foot of the Cross.
Jesus accepts us as we are but loves us too much to leave us as we are. Thanks be to God!
Lord God, we are so quick to want forgiveness for our transgressions but sometimes incredibly slow to offer forgiveness to those that hurt us. Lord, help us to be quick to forgive by remembering how quick You are to forgive us. Help us to remember that forgiveness is as much for the giver (if not more) as the receiver. We pray in the mighty name of Jesus and by the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
SATURDAY
God's Miraculous Creation
“You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb" (Psalms 139:13 NLT).
God's plan became clearer, while reflecting on the birth of my grandson. Just over a year ago, I witnessed my daughter having a baby. I thank God for His love for us that He brings new life from the womb. Time flies so enjoy and thank God each day for His blessings.
Dear Lord, thank You for Your amazing hand of creating us in our mother's womb. You, Father, are the Creator and our God. In Jesus name, I give thanks and praise. Amen.
SUNDAY
What Do We Do?
You should know this, Timothy, that in the last days there will be very difficult times. For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred. They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control. They will be cruel and hate what is good. They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God (2 Timothy 3:1-4 NLT).
We could be living in the end times. We don't know that and won't know until the end comes. No one except God knows this.
One thing we do know is the world is crazy. Bad things are happening everyday. Chaos reigns and Satan is running rampant.
So, what do we do? We get into God's word, studying and reading. Then we get outside the four walls of the church building and share Christ with those who need His grace, mercy, and love. It's time for us to step up our "game" and evangelize.
So, you say you aren't a preacher and can't do that? I say baloney. Just love people, form relationships and tell them your personal story. Simply tell them what Jesus did in your life. It's your story. You know it better than anyone else. Just go tell it.
Thank You Father God for making us disciples and giving us a job to do. We praise You Lord and worship Your mighty name. Amen.
