MONDAY

The Battle For Peace

You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you (Isaiah 26:3 NLT).

It seems that many people who I meet and talk with, are struggling with not having peace in their lives. They fight anxiety daily.

Folks, the battle has already been won by the life, death, and resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ. Put your faith and trust in Him and you will find the peace that you are craving.

Lord God, grant all who read this, the inner peace that only You can provide. Lord, I pray that many people will search for You and find the peace that they so desire. Lord God, You are sufficient for all of our needs, let us have the faith to totally trust in You. It's in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

TUESDAY

Our Firm Belief

Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see (Hebrews 11:1 NLT).

Faith – (defined) firm belief in something for which there is no proof.

I can't help you with this. Our faith is a personal walk with God that He is God.

Faith is putting your trust and hope in God without any tangible proof that He is there. Stepping out on faith is a scary thing. He will never leave you or forsake you.

Lord God, thank You for loving us when we are so unlovable. Thank You for not giving up on any of us. Thank You, Lord, for your love, mercy, and grace. We praise You, Lord! Amen.

WEDNESDAY

Helpless

When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners (Romans 5:6 NLT).

--That is not the end of the story--

But very early on Sunday morning the women went to the tomb, taking the spices they had prepared. They found that the stone had been rolled away from the entrance. So they went in, but they didn’t find the body of the Lord Jesus. As they stood there puzzled, two men suddenly appeared to them, clothed in dazzling robes. The women were terrified and bowed with their faces to the ground. Then the men asked, “Why are you looking among the dead for someone who is alive? He isn’t here! He is risen from the dead! Remember what he told you back in Galilee, that the Son of Man must be betrayed into the hands of sinful men and be crucified, and that he would rise again on the third day” (Luke 24:1-7).

He Is Risen! He Is Risen, indeed!

Thank you, Jesus, dying for our sin and praise be to God for His perfect plan of resurrection. Amen!

THURSDAY

Wisdom for Life

A good reputation is more valuable than costly perfume. And the day you die is better than the day you are born (Ecclesiastes 7:1 NLT).

Do we realize how important our reputation is for us? We can have many things in life but a good reputation will go before us and will linger after we leave.

Another question for each of us is: Are you living your life realizing that there is much more after our time on earth is done? Are you wrapping your arms around the greatest gift ever given?

Just a couple of quick questions/statements today. I praise God today and always, because without Him, I would still be wandering around in the wilderness.

Thank You Lord, for blessing us beyond our ability to understand. Amen.

FRIDAY

Trials And Tribulations

“So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today (Matthew 6:27, 34 NLT).

Stop worrying! It will never help any situation. It can only create more problems and frustrations. Can all your worries add a single moment to your life or change a single thing?

Dear Lord, we lay our trials, troubles, and tribulations at Your feet. Take them and do what You will. We pray for peace and comfort as You lead us through the “valley.” In Jesus' mighty name we ask and pray. Amen.

SATURDAY

Our Burdens

Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest (Matthew 11:28 NLT).

Are you tired? Has life dealt you more than you feel you can deal with? When we stand alone, we can be overwhelmed. But when we ask Jesus into our lives, we have an Advocate who will battle for us.

Give your life to Christ today and never fight alone again.

Lord, thank You for being in this tough fight with us. Help us to see the joy that you want us to see and help us to experience peace in the midst of any storm. Lead us today by Your Holy Spirit. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

SUNDAY

Trials Equal Growth

For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow (James 1:3 NLT).

We all go through our valleys in life. We have many trials and tribulations as we walk through this world. It's a part of our broken nature. Stuff will happen. We also must know that this "stuff" happens to everyone, even the strongest Christians will suffer in the valleys of life. Being a follower of Christ doesn't make you bullet proof and ten feet tall. Satan hates a Christian and especially one that is truly following God's will. That is why it's so very important to regularly read Ephesians 6:10-18. These verses instruct us on how to fight the spiritual battle that rages around us. We must be vigilant in prayer for ourselves and our fellow believers. Prayer is vital and we should be in a continual conversation with our Lord.

Be cheerful, brothers and sisters, as we fight the battles of life. God has already won the victory for us through His Son and all we need to do is walk each day with our Lord, Jesus Christ. Claim that victory! Take one step at a time by the grace of our God.

Father God, help us to study Your word and let us be strong in Your truth. Instruct us on how to wage battle with the unseen world. Show us how to strap on Your armor and how to be ready for war. Thank You Lord Jesus, our King and our Savior. Amen.
