Ask!

If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind (James 1:5-6 NLT).

Don't waver in your soulful prayer. Never fail to believe that all things are possible with God. Pray believing that God will hear and act upon your needs.

Our God is The Almighty God of all things. He is sovereign and trustworthy. Believe and come to His throne in humility. He is God. Trust in God and not in yourself.

Thank You Lord! Nothing is too big or too small for us to bring to You. Hear our prayers and Father please meet or needs. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Tuesday

Short and Point On

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can’t see— such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him. He existed before anything else, and he holds all creation together (Colossians 1:15-17 NLT).

You see? It is ALL about Jesus!!! Enough said.

We praise You Lord, You were there from the beginning. You are The Word. You are Truth. You are our Savior. Thank You God for Your perfect plan. We pray and give thanks in the might name of Jesus. Amen.

Wednesday

Are We Enablers?

Love does no wrong to others, so love fulfills the requirements of God’s law. This is all the more urgent, for you know how late it is; time is running out. Wake up, for our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. The night is almost gone; the day of salvation will soon be here. So remove your dark deeds like dirty clothes, and put on the shining armor of right living (Romans 13:10-12 NLT).

It is not love when we support and enable our family members and friends to continue to live in sin. Yes, it feels good to affirm someone in what they want to do, but it's not beneficial to them when what they want is destructive to their lives, presently and eternally. In fact, when we become enablers, we a committing a grievous injustice to our friend or family member. When we become an enabler, we become part of their sin and destruction.

The old saying goes here, “The truth hurts.” Yes, it does, but it's better than letting someone live a life of current and eternal sorrow. Are you enabling someone because you think that your support is helping them? Do you think it's love to support them in their sin? We must speak truth into their darkness and into the sin in their lives. Speaking truth is love, in the truest sense.

Lord God, thank you for giving us your Holy Bible so that we are able to know what truth is. Amen

Thursday

Kingdom Search

Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and he will give you everything you need (Luke 12:31 NLT).

If we search the world for treasures, we will just find stuff. Stuff that has no lasting value. When we search for God and His riches, we will find life – true and everlasting life.

Father God, thank You for the many treasures that You have laid out for those that follow You. We praise You Lord and we especially pray for the souls of the lost that have not found the saving grace provided by the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is in the name of Jesus that we pray. Amen.

Friday

God is Faithful

Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning (Lamentations 3:23 NLT).

I thank God for his faithfulness even when I am faithless. His mercy far outweighs our thankfulness. I get up each morning only by His mercy and grace. I thank God that He gave me another day. As I go about my day, I pray that I will show someone His love, mercy, and grace by my actions.

Thank you God for Jesus, who came to save us from ourselves. Amen.

Saturday

Trust and Obey

The instructions of the Lord are perfect,
reviving the soul.
The decrees of the Lord are trustworthy,
making wise the simple.
The commandments of the Lord are right,
bringing joy to the heart.
The commands of the Lord are clear,
giving insight for living.
Reverence for the Lord is pure,
lasting forever.
The laws of the Lord are true;
each one is fair.
They are more desirable than gold,
even the finest gold.
They are sweeter than honey,
even honey dripping from the comb.
They are a warning to your servant,
a great reward for those who obey them (Psalm 19:7-11 NLT).

If we are not willing to trust in God's word and then obey His instruction, we are doomed as a people and as a nation.

Dear Lord, save us from our deceived hearts. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.

Sunday

Distress Signal

In my distress I prayed to the Lord,
and the Lord answered me and set me free.
The Lord is for me, so I will have no fear.
What can mere people do to me?
Yes, the Lord is for me; he will help me.
I will look in triumph at those who hate me.
It is better to take refuge in the Lord
than to trust in people (Psalm 118:5-8 NLT).

When we are down, depressed, or just without hope, we must pray. God will set us free of the anguish that we are feeling. He will provide us with strength, comfort, peace and enable us to keep walking.

God is real!!! Thanks be to God!!!

Lord God, thank you for setting us free and showing us what true liberty is all about. We are thankful for Your hand of mercy, grace and love. Lead us today by Your Holy Spirit and make our way easy. Forgive us of our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. We ask and pray in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ our Savior. Amen.
