Our Decision is Honored

For the Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost (Luke 19:10 NLT).

God lets us decide whether we want to serve Him or this world (with its sinful pleasures). He will not force Himself on us but gives us free will. I believe that God cries when people make the wrong decision. He has loved us our entire lives, but He will honor our choice. I hope and pray that everyone that reads this will choose wisely. Our decision to accept God's Son, Jesus Christ, is the only hope we have to an eternity with our heavenly Father. There is no other name, except Jesus by which we can be saved.

Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world (James 4:8 NLT).

Dear Lord, open the hearts, minds, and eyes of the lost. In Jesus' mighty name, I ask and pray. Amen.

Tuesday

Give It All to God

Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand (Isaiah 41:10 NLT).

Give all your trials, troubles, illnesses, heartaches, and headaches to God. He is more than capable. Trust in Him!

Father, help us to not hold anything back from you. Help us to bring all of our troubles to the foot of your throne. Lord God, forgive us where we sin against you. Forgive us for making poor life choices and bring us back into your presence. We praise you, Father! We praise you! We humble ourselves and ask for forgiveness. Lead us today to be more like Jesus today than yesterday. We ask and pray in the mighty and matchless name of Christ. Amen.

Wednesday

Grace Not Law

I do not treat the grace of God as meaningless. For if keeping the law could make us right with God, then there was no need for Christ to die (Galatians 2:21 NLT).

By His grace, we are saved! We can never accomplish keeping His law as we are broken sinners. Thank you, Jesus!

Dear Lord, thank you for your sacrifice for us. Amen.

Thursday

Truth & Justice

For the word of the LORD holds true, and we can trust everything he does. He loves whatever is just and good; the unfailing love of the LORD fills the earth (Psalm 33:4-5 NLT).

God's truth will prevail. The political correctness of this lost and dying world will be cast under His mighty feet.

Dear Father God, show this world your truth and love, but with that truth, your hand of justice will be sure and final. Bring the lost to your throne of grace. I pray this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Friday

No Greater Love

There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends (John 15:13 NLT).

Our law enforcement officers (LEO's) and first responders need our thoughts, prayers, and support. They are on the front lines of an increasingly dangerous world.

I would like to especially pray for all the families that have lost loved ones who were battling the evil in our world. We have lost too many brave men and women who are working, in sometimes horrible situations, to protect and serve our communities.

God, be with our LEO's and first responders. They go into their daily jobs to protect and serve. Lord, be with all the families that have lost loved ones. Place your mighty hand of healing on every wounded officer/responder, whether it be mental or physical wounds. In Jesus' mighty and matchless name and by the power of the Holy Spirit, we pray. Amen.

Saturday

Masterpiece

God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago (Ephesians 2:8-10 NLT).

We are each a creation of the Most High God. We are formed in His image. We are an incomplete masterpiece. Yes, incomplete not by God but by our choices in life. God gave us free will to choose the direction of our lives. He also gave us His Holy Word to guide us in our choices. We must choose to follow His plan or our own plan.

To complete God's masterpiece for eternity, we must make a choice. Our choices are: to pursue the pleasures of this world that lead to sin or we can choose the salvation of the Lord, Jesus Christ.

Our choice will either complete the masterpiece that God began, or our choice will forever separate us from His saving love, mercy, and grace eternally.

Choose wisely, brothers and sisters. Your choice has eternal consequences.

Thank you Lord for giving us the gift of salvation. Dear Lord, open the hearts and minds and senses of your children to recognize that we are doomed without accepting that wonderful Gift. It is in Jesus' Name that we humbly pray. Amen.

Sunday

Total Love

For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16 NLT).

There is not greater love than this. Today, be reminded that no matter what we are going through and what we are dealing with in this life, God loves us. He will not only lead us through our problems but will carry us in His amazing arms when we can't take another step.

Friends, God loves you. Rejoice in Him and His Holiness, His righteousness, and His grace.

Dear Father, thank you for becoming flesh, in the body of Jesus Christ, and for dwelling among your people, living a sinless life so that Jesus might be a perfect sacrifice for our sin. Thank you Father God for raising Jesus from the dead so that we too might be raised when our earthly life is over. Father, your love is greater than the human mind can ever discern. We praise your mighty name today! Amen.
