God's Plan

If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved (Romans 10:9-10 NLT).

Ladies and gentlemen – this is God's plan of salvation. Don't make it so difficult. Jesus did the hard part.  All we have to do is accept Him and what He did for us.

Father, thank you for your perfect plan. We praise your mighty name. Amen.

Tuesday

Always There

I know the LORD is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me (Psalm 16:8 NLT).

Do you know that God is always with you? He is there in good times and the bad times. During the bad times, He is the One who is picking you up and then holding you up. God will sustain you through the valleys of life. Trust in Him and praise Him in the good times, but exclaim your love and need for Him in the bad times.

Lord God, help us to feel your presence when we are in the valley of life. Help us to realize that you will never leave us and will always be there to help us pick up the pieces when this world comes crashing down around us. Lead us, Lord, into a closer relationship with you. I ask and pray in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

Wednesday

Our Every Cry

I am praying to you because I know you will answer, O God. Bend down and listen as I pray. Show me your unfailing love in wonderful ways. By your mighty power, you rescue those who seek refuge from their enemies (Psalm 17:6-7 NLT).

God hears our every prayer. He cries with us in our every heartbreak. He walks with us every step. He picks us up when we fall. He carries us when we can't walk. He helps us run when we can barely crawl.

God also answers our every prayer:  yes, no, or not yet. I know that "no" sounds bad, but His "no" is always the best thing for us. A denial of our request is many times better than a "yes" which fails to fit God's plan for our lives. I can personally testify to that.

Dear Lord God, your love endures forever. Thank you, Father. We praise your mighty name and pray in the mighty and matchless name of your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Thursday

The Love of God

God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God (Ephesians 2:8 NLT).

We are dependent on God's grace through our faith that we will inherit the kingdom of heaven. It is not by what we have done or can do, but through what God did for us. It is truly a mystery of God that we will not fully understand until we are face to face with our King.

For the law was given through Moses, but God’s unfailing love and faithfulness came through Jesus Christ (John 1:17 NLT).

God gave the Law, the Ten Commandments, through Moses. We are to use God's Word and His commandments as our map for life. The Ten Commandments are still valid today as the right way to live our lives. We should note we are incapable of keeping the law. Being broken people, we could not inherit heaven without God's intervention. His plan of salvation is only available through His Son, Jesus Christ.

Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me" (John 14:6 NLT).

We are saved by God’s grace. We have faith Jesus is who He says He is, God’s promises are true, and His Word is perfect. Thanks be to God.

Lord God, thank you! Amen.

God's Promises – Bank onThem

God’s way is perfect. All the LORD’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection (Psalm 18:30 NLT).

He promises His hand of protection. The key to His promises is to give Him your heart, abide in His Word, and live according to His direction.

Dear Father, help us to draw nearer to you. We pray in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus. Amen.

Saturday

It Turns Out Well

No one can comprehend the height of heaven, the depth of the earth, or all that goes on in the king’s mind! (Proverbs 25:3 NLT).

We have no idea of how wonderful heaven will be nor the depths of evil in this world. We also don't understand the full extent of God's plan. We can be certain as we trust in Him everything turns out well.

Dear Lord, help us to stop living lives that resemble hell and begin living a life that is heaven-bound. We ask in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus. Amen.

Sunday

Super-Abundance

You can enter God’s Kingdom only through the narrow gate. The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide for the many who choose that way. But the gateway to life is very narrow and the road is difficult, and only a few ever find it (Matthew 7:13-14 NLT).

Are you looking for an abundant life? A life worth living?  A life of peace and knowing that God has your hand and is leading you down the right path?

Accept Jesus as your King and follow him into that abundant life. Yes, He provides a life adorned with abundance.  That abundance is both here on earth plus the wonderful promise of everlasting life in heaven. It is not always an easy path, but it's a path that you will never regret taking.

Many will miss their chance by thinking, “Hey, I got plenty of time. I’m gonna lead my wild life and then turn to God." Folks, we have no idea when we will take our last breath. Isn't now the time to accept Jesus?

Think about it. Don't make an eternal mistake.

Father God, thank you for your Son, Jesus Christ, and the fact that He laid down His life for all of us. We pray that many people will turn to Him, repent, and claim you as their God. Thank you Father for your love, mercy, and grace. Help us to re-live your grace daily. We ask and pray in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
