His Word
Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress where I will not be shaken. My victory and honor come from God alone. He is my refuge, a rock where no enemy can reach me (Psalm 62:5-7 NLT).
What do these words all have in common?
1.Wait
2.Hope
3.Rock
4.Fortress
5.Victory
6.Honor
7.Refuge
GOD!
Dear Lord, help us see Your love, mercy, and grace. In Christ's mighty name. Amen.

He Doesn't Hide
Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. “So don’t worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today’s trouble is enough for today (Matthew 6:33-34 NLT).
God doesn't hide from those who seek Him. In fact, His blessings are poured out on those who seek to find Him and attempt to live righteously, according to His Word. God doesn't hold back from supplying the needs of His children.
So, today's question is, "Why are you holding back from giving your lives, hearts, and souls to God?"
Trust in Him, He is God.
Thank You, Lord, for loving us. Amen.
Wednesday
His Mighty Power
A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power (Ephesians 6:10 NLT).
No matter what you are going through, dealing with, or running from, you should have no fear if you are a child of the Most High.
You have the power, the mighty power of God on your side. Face your problems head-on. Stand up to the Devil and claim God's victory over him. Jesus already won that battle, stop fighting for something that all you need to do is claim.
I thank God every day for winning the battle for me. How about you? Have you thanked Him today?
Dear Lord, help us fully accept that you have the final word, and we need to just trust in you. In Your name, I pray, amen.

Faith Provides Shelter
Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him (Psalm 91:1-2 NLT).
Are you tired? Have you run away from God for so long that you just can't keep running? Are you ready to fall into His mighty arms and find security and peace? Are you ready to feel the safety that only God can provide?
To come into God's refuge, you must come to Him in faith and trust. You must believe that He is who He says He is! You must acknowledge that God wants a relationship with you through His Son, Jesus Christ. You must come to Christ in repentance and accept Him as your Lord and Savior.
When you come to Him, He will provide all your needs. He will provide a safe refuge, no matter what you are going through. He will see you through hard times and provide as needed. Also, the great news is that you are secured a place in heaven when this life is over. Thanks be to God!
God saved you by His grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God (Eph 2:8).
Lord God, thank you for your shelter and refuge. Thank you for Jesus! Without Him, we would be lost eternally. With Him, we have eternal life in heaven. Praise God from whom all blessings flow. Amen and amen.

Observing Through His Filter
God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.
There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son. And the judgment is based on this fact: God’s light came into the world, but people loved the darkness more than the light, for their actions were evil. All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed. But those who do what is right come to the light so others can see that they are doing what God wants (John 3:17-21 NLT).
We will all be judged by God. There is no need for us to judge others, but we can and should be fruit inspectors. What I mean is, we should never judge someone's salvation. That is solely God's place and not ours. But we should look and observe the actions of others and determine if what they do, lines up with God's Word.
Everything we observe should be filtered through God's Word.
During this time, when society exclaims that evil things are good and good things are evil, we need to focus more on the study of God's Word. The Holy Word is the roadmap for life. It is the GPS that keeps us on track so that we might spend eternity with Him.
Please consider what I'm writing today, truth is not what you feel in your heart, it's what God says in His holy book.
Father God, please open the eyes of the lost that they might find truth in your Word. May those who know you, Lord, begin to read and study your Holy Word and live by its teachings. May you, Father, be with each of us today and all the days from here to eternity. In Jesus' name, amen.
Saturday
Free Will
Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world (1 John 2:15-16 NLT).
We have choices and we must be cautious about the choices that we make. Our choices might lead to idolatry and sinful pleasures. Our choices might drive a wedge between God and us. We surely don't need to build walls between Him and ourselves.
God gives us free will. I suggest and pray that each of us will use this freedom to draw nearer to our heavenly Father.
Lord God, please be with us today and show us the things in our lives which separate us from your blessings. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Sunday
Real Treasure
Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and he will give you everything you need (Luke 12:31 NLT).
If we search the world for treasures, we will just find stuff. Stuff that has no lasting value. When we search for God and His riches, we will find life, true life, life everlasting.
Thank you, Lord, for loving us so much that you gave us your mighty Word as a guide, our roadmap. Thank you for saving us from ourselves by sending Jesus to pay the ultimate sacrifice for our sins. We praise you, Lord God! Amen!
