AFA does not endorse political candidates

Tupelo, MS--The Mike Hurst for AG campaign has mailed an endorsement letter from Tim Wildmon that used the American Family Association, Inc. (AFA) name and logo improperly and without authorization. Mr. Wildmon gave the Hurst campaign his personal endorsement, acting in his individual capacity.  The campaign erred in using the AFA logo in the letterhead and using the AFA name in the signature line.  The campaign has apologized for the error and assured AFA that they will make no further misuse of AFA's name or logo.  

American Family Association is a pro-family advocacy organization that does not endorse political candidates.
