AFA Action launches Center for Judicial Renewal to restore the Judiciary to its proper role
TUPELO, Miss. — AFA Action, the government affairs affiliate of the American Family Association, is proud to announce the launch of the innovative new Center for Judicial Renewal (CJR). The Center for Judicial Renewal is strategically restoring the Judiciary to its proper role of deciding cases under the law rather than legislating from the bench. A dedicated team of researchers thoroughly completed 10,000 hours of research on federal judicial prospects in 11 vital areas, including faith and worldview. The legal team has researched eight out of nine sitting Supreme Court Justices, and 20 potential future Supreme Court prospects, 12 of which are sitting federal judges.
“Our judicial branch has the power to make life-altering, fundamental changes to our nation,” said AFA Action CEO Walker Wildmon. “It is essential that we as patriotic Americans are aware of who exactly is governing our nation and ensure that they are adhering to the blueprint set forth by our Founding Fathers. The constitutional role of judges is to decide cases according to the original meaning of the Constitution and legislative texts, not to legislate from the bench. The Center for Judicial Renewal is designed to help steer our Judiciary back to its intended purpose through careful research, legislation, and more.”
The mission of AFA Action is to inform and mobilize voters and government officials to align policy with biblical and constitutional principles, with a vision to see a society of citizens successfully preserving life, liberty, and the ability to pursue happiness.
