On Tuesday, December 13, Ohio Gov. John Kasich vetoed prolife, heartbeat bill. Previously, the bill had passed with strong support in the Ohio state house and senate, but not with enough votes to make the bill veto proof.
This is why I strongly urge you to make the following phone calls now in support of this bill. The window of opportunity closes soon to override this veto!
First, contact Speaker of the House Cliff Rosenberger, and ask him to bring up the heartbeat bill for a vote to override Kasich's veto. Speaker Cliff Rosenberger: 614-466-3506.
Second, contact the five Ohio republican representatives below who voted against the bill. Urge them to vote to override Gov. Kasich's veto of the heartbeat bill.

There are people who have labeled themselves as prolife who are opposing this bill because it may fail in the courts. But we support overriding Gov. Kasich’s veto on the basis of the Biblical principle to protect life by keeping the hearts of babies beating.
