A few weeks ago, AFA released its new, original, feature-length documentary from American Family Studios titled, In His Image: Delighting in God’s Plan for Gender and Sexuality. In the short amount of time since the free, online showing of the film launched, I am excited to share with you that more than 98,000 people have registered to watch, with over 310,000 plays! And 11,241 have financially partnered with AFA to share the redemptive hope of the gospel presented in In His Image. Those of you who partner with us financially will receive a DVD of the full film, which ships this month.

My friend, Dr. Erwin Lutzer, Pastor Emeritus of the Moody Church in Chicago, where he served as senior pastor for 36 years, said this about the film: "This documentary is so critical in the midst of this cultural moment when you have such an emphasis in our schools, in our culture, in our media regarding sexuality, trans, and same-sex attraction. We are inundated by cultural streams that seem to be taking over. How are we going to stand against those cultural streams, those cultural times when the church wonders, 'Where do we go?'" Dr. Lutzer goes on the say, "In His Image will help us. I encourage you to see it. I encourage families to watch it together (not recommended for young children) so that you can be equipped. Watch it and discuss it and pass it along. We need it for this moment!"

Watch In His Image.

Because of your partnership in spreading the word about In His Image, there are many good things to report about the early impact of the film! We are receiving requests from pastors who are planning special screenings of the film at churches or in their communities. We have received numerous phone calls, emails, and Facebook messages from people whose lives have been deeply impacted by the powerful testimonies in the film. These are people who are desperate for help and are asking for prayer. There is a surge of international interest in the film. We are working with a couple of broadcast networks toward partnerships to air and stream the film. DVD orders are pouring in. We initially ordered what we thought would be "more than enough" DVDs, but the demand has already caused a second order to be placed. There is more to share, and I will keep you posted.

Do you or someone you love need prayer on this issue? If you or someone you know is wrestling with same-sex attraction, transgenderism, or other issues of sexual brokenness, prayer is the first step. Our prayer team would be honored to pray over your request! You can submit your prayers request HERE. Would you join in prayer with AFA that In His Image would have a massive impact in our nation and bring repentance, salvation, healing, and transformation to individuals who need it most? If so, please add your name to the more than 1,890 prayer warriors who have committed to pray with us by clicking the Commit to Pray link above and sign the pledge. We are seeking 5,000 prayer warriors for our intercessory prayer team.

We have had so many people requesting prayer that we are planning a Prodigal Prayer Emphasis Week for November 16-20 that will inform churches how to start a "Prodigal Prayer Box" ministry. More information about this will be forthcoming next week.

Please continue to help us spread the word about this new film by simply forwarding this email to all who would be encouraged by In His Image and sharing this link on your social media channels
