His Grace, Our Faith

Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see (Hebrews 11:1 NLT).

God saves us by His grace. God is the Alpha and Omega, the One, true living God. We must have faith that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God. We must learn to trust that the Holy Spirit is working in our hearts, shaping us to be more like Jesus today than we were yesterday.

I can't give you faith. You must find your faith through the power of the Holy Spirit and learning to trust that God is God of all. We must read God's word and let Him speak to us through His holy scriptures.

My prayer today is for those that struggle with believing in a God that they can't see or touch.

Our God is:  A God who is always with us and will never leave us but will never force Himself on any of us. A God who will never fail us but will also let us make our own mistakes. A God who loves us more than we can ever understand. A God who came off His throne, came to earth, was hated for no reason, was crucified for our sins, died for us, then was raised from the dead so we might be raised into a new life when this mortal life is over.

This is the God I serve!

Do you know Him? If not, isn't it time?

Thanks be to God for free will but with that free choice, we must make wise decisions. Choose wisely, my friends.

Father God, we pray for those that are struggling with accepting you as the God of all creation. We pray that you will prick the hearts of those who need you but are not yet willing to turn to you and ask you into their hearts and their lives. May you reach down from heaven and wrap your mighty arms around your lost children. It is in our Jesus' name that we pray. Amen.

God's Mysterious Ways

For God chose to save us through our Lord Jesus Christ, not to pour out his anger on us (1 Thessalonians 5:9 NLT).

We deserve hell, but God offers us heaven. God could have come to us in many ways, but He chose to come as a baby, born of a virgin, in a stable not in a palace. God came not to condemn the world but to save the world. Thanks be to God!

Thank You Father for coming to save your lost sheep. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Wednesday

He Came For You And Me

For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body (Colossians 2:9 NLT).

God came to earth in the form of a baby, fully God, and fully man. By God's amazing grace, He left His heavenly throne to provide His plan of salvation for all of the world.

Thank you, Lord, amen.

Thursday

The Only One Who Saves

Those who heard Jesus use this illustration didn’t understand what he meant, so he explained it to them: “I tell you the truth, I am the gate for the sheep. All who came before me were thieves and robbers. But the true sheep did not listen to them. Yes, I am the gate. Those who come in through me will be saved. They will come and go freely and will find good pastures. The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life. “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd sacrifices his life for the sheep (John 10:6-11 NLT).

Satan roams this world, looking for opportunities to pull the lost into his grasp. The devil is relentless in his search to ruin lives with his lies and evil. BUT, we have a Savior that will put Satan under our feet. The devil can't stand where Jesus has a foothold.

Father God, we pray for those who don't know Jesus or don't know about His saving grace. Lord, we pray You will touch those who have hardened hearts and those who have turned from you and will not listen to truth. Lord, open the eyes, minds, and hearts of those who desperately need you. We pray for those who are too prideful or broken to accept you as their Savior. We pray you will use your children to share the gospel everywhere. We pray you will embolden the meek to stand up and speak your truth. Lead us and direct us today, Lord. We pray in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, amen.

Friday

The Supreme King

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God.

He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth.

He made the things we can see and the things we can’t see — such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him. He existed before anything else, and he holds all creation together (Colossians 1:15-17 NLT).

We are so blessed that, you, the God of all creation loves us more than we can ever understand. No matter our situation, You are always with us. Let us never forget to give you all of our praise.

Dear Lord, help us to fully know your truth and your direction in our lives. Not what we want but what you desire for us. Lead us to truly know you are the Supreme King of all things. Be with those who are suffering, hurting, lonely, and lost, bring them in a full relationship with you, Lord. We ask and pray this in your mighty and precious name. Amen.

Saturday

Re-Live God's Grace Daily

For the grace of God has been revealed, bringing salvation to all people. And we are instructed to turn from godless living and sinful pleasures. We should live in this evil world with wisdom, righteousness, and devotion to God, while we look forward with hope to that wonderful day when the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, will be revealed (Titus 2:11-13 NLT).

Jesus came for ALL people, but He will not force himself on anyone. In order to accept His gift of salvation, a person must accept Him.

I feel that every morning before we put our feet on the floor, we should praise God for His grace. Without his grace, we would not be able to have a relationship with Him. Through His grace, we are saved. It's all about Him and not about anything that we have or could do. All we are required to do is accept Jesus, repent (turning from our sin), and walk with Him.

Father God, we praise You for Your love, mercy, and grace. We pray many people will accept your grace today. We pray those who have experienced your grace will re-live that grace today and praise you for it. During this new year, let each of us show our fellow man, the love, mercy, and grace you have shown us. We pray in the mighty name of Jesus and by the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Sunday

God Provides

And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him. And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for (1 John 5:14-15 NLT).

God hears our prayers and supplies our needs. Trust in Him for He is good.

Dear Lord, help us to trust in you during the times of standing in the wilderness of life. Help us to know you have a plan where it will be beneficial for us to be still, listen, and wait on you. We ask you, Lord, to meet and exceed our needs today and forever. In the mighty name of Jesus and by the power of the Holy Spirit we pray. Amen.
