Acceptance and Restoration

This is real love – not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins (1 John 4:10 NLT).

Wow, it doesn't get any better than being a child of the Most High God. We can look near and far but we will never find anyone who loves us more than our God, our Creator. He loves us so much that He accepts us as we are, but because of His love, He will never leave us as we are.

We praise you, Lord God. We come to you broken, and you heal us. We come to you undeserving and you smother us in love. We come to you and you restore us and call us worthy. We come to you in times of blessings and of defeat. You open your arms. Lord, you share in our victories and pick us up in our defeats. You are our God who has bestowed your amazing grace on each of us. Thank you, Lord. We give thanks, praise, and prayer in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.

Tuesday

God's Way...Or

The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life (John 10:10 NLT).

Life is full of contentment or life is full of disruption.

Life is full of satisfaction or life is full of searching for satisfaction.

Life is full of love or life is filled with hate.

We can choose life with God or a life with the devil.

It's our choice. Our choice has a direct effect on our life on this earth as well as our eternity. Stop running from God, and turn away from Satan. This decision will cause a total life change. Change for life.

Lord God, help us to turn our back on the evil one and run into your arms. It's in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, our Savior, we pray. Amen.

Wednesday

His Glory Covers Our World

But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!) (Ephesians 2:4-5 NLT).

As we move closer to Easter, let us continually focus on the fact, that by the way of the cross, Jesus conquered the sin of the world. But it's by the glorious resurrection we are raised to new life. It's our faith in what God did that our hope rests. It's not about anything we have done but about what God did for us. It's all about Jesus.

Thanks be to God, the Father; God, the Son; and God, the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Thursday

Keep Your Eyes Fixed On Jesus

I am counting on the LORD; yes, I am counting on him. I have put my hope in his word (Psalm 130:5 NLT).

Life is crazy. We never know what will cross our path. We shouldn't worry, though. We are to trust in Jesus and enjoy every minute He has blessed us with. Tell your family and friends that you love them, give them hugs and kisses, and thank God for every breath.

We might not be able to count on our next breath, but we can count on God. He is always with us and will never leave us.

Lord, thank you for never giving up on us. Thank you for being with us 24/7/365. Thank you for your Holy Word. Thank you for every breath we take. We praise you, Lord God, and give our lives to you. We pray in our Savior’s name, amen.

 Friday

 Purchased With a High Cost

He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins (Ephesians 1:7 NLT).

By the grace of God, our salvation was paid for at a very high price, His Son. We should never diminish that fact.

Jesus died for you. Thanks be to God.

Lord Jesus, thank you for giving your life for each of us. Lord, help us to be worthy of your sacrifice. Amen.

 Saturday

 It's All About Jesus

Therefore he is able, once and forever, to save those who come to God through him. He lives forever to intercede with God on their behalf (Hebrews 7:25 NLT).

Everything was created by Him, through Him, and for Him. He is the King of Kings!

Father God, thank you for giving us an open door to heaven through our Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Sunday

The Endless Battle

This is my command – be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the LORD your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9 NLT).

We all have battles to face in our lives. Some battles seem endless. Some are skirmishes but some are sieges. No matter the battle, go in to that fight, knowing that God is with you.

Lord God, we can put our faith in you. Father God, you are with us always. You will never leave us or forsake us. We are your children, Father, and you will correct us, scold us and reprimand us when it is needed. We know that your discipline is always done for a purpose, for our good, and with love. Help us to fall into your arms for strength when the battle becomes intense and lead us by your amazing grace. We love you, Lord God, help us to love you more every day. We ask and pray in the mighty name of Jesus and by the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
