American Family Association: Parents, beware: College students are learning more about racial identity than American First Amendment rights

TUPELO, Miss. —  A new study revealed that 90% of universities across the country are indoctrinating incoming students with diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) propaganda, but less than 30% of universities detail First Amendment rights and free speech awareness. The report showed that the vast majority of universities had “seven times more orientation video material related to DEI themes than free speech or viewpoint diversity.” Some state universities such as New York and California even have students take a test asking them “to match skin color, weapons and objects with negative and positive words, and judges perceived ‘bias’ based on how quickly students answer the questions.”   

American Family Association (AFA, www.AFA.net) is warning parents to make informed choices on where they send their children to college. AFA Executive Vice President Ed Vitagliano commented that parents must be aware that this DEI training will turn their children against their country and its bulwark of constitutional liberties.

Vitagliano stated, “The public spaces in our nation are becoming a warzone between traditionalists who love America and the ‘progressive’ lunatics who hate the founders, hate the Constitution, and hate the nation. While these cultural Marxists have their tentacles in Hollywood, legacy news media, social media, and corporations, they infested college and university campuses first. Until that situation can be changed –– and it’s unclear whether that’s even possible –– Christian parents are going to have to be extremely careful about where they send their children once they graduate high school.”
