What an exciting week this has been, and the celebrating is not over yet. This week we have observed Teacher Appreciation Week, with Tuesday being Teacher Appreciation Day, the National Day of Prayer and Holocaust Remembrance Day were both on Thursday, and Sunday will be Mother’s Day. Also, to date, we are closing in on 1.2 million people who have signed the #BoycottTarget pledge. We have so much for which to be thankful and praise Him.
In honor of Mother’s Day, it is important to celebrate or remember all mothers. Whether you are a stay at home mom, working mom, single mom, or praying to become a mom, this day is for all of us.
“For this child I prayed; and the Lord hath given me my petition which I asked of him.” I Samuel 1:27 KJV
A Mother’s Blanket of Prayer
When you were young
And it was cold outside
With a blanket
I covered you with care.
Now that you are older
And the world is much colder,
I now cover you with
A blanket of prayer.
