Abortion
What is abortion? According to Merriam-Webster dictionary, abortion is a medical procedure used to end a pregnancy and cause the death of a fetus. What is a fetus? According to the same dictionary a fetus is a human being or animal in the later stages of development before it is born.
That is a quasi-technical way of defining abortion. In layman's terms abortion is the murdering of a child that is inside the mother’s womb. The most common form of abortion uses a vacuum. During this technique the baby is often ripped to pieces by the power of the suction coming from the vacuum. Another technique is where the doctor uses tools to cut the baby up into pieces then pull the limbs out one by one. After each of these abortions the doctor has to piece the baby back together to make sure there are no body parts left inside the mother.
Does this change or make your view of abortion even more horrific than it already was? It did to me.
Selling babies body parts
The recent videos released by the Center for Medical Progress showing Planned Parenthood selling baby body parts is even more horrendous than the description of abortion I gave. Planned Parenthood officials are willing to take the murder of babies a step further by selling the body parts to the highest bidder.
In the fourth video released by the Center for Medical Progress the Planned Parenthood official has the aborted baby in a bowl on a counter top. One pro-life group, Students For Life has decided to call this baby boy Emmett. In the video, as Emmett is in a bowl on the counter, the Planned Parenthood doctor is seen stirring around in the bowl and says, “It’s a boy!” The doctor later goes on to point out the body parts such as the head and other organs. These actions by Planned Parenthood that are documented by the Center for Medical Progress can only be described as pure evil.
Monday night the Senate voted on whether to defund Planned Parenthood and the measure failed. The American people deserve to know whether their senators voted to defund Planned Parenthood or not. The senators that voted against defunding Planned Parenthood will be remembered as the ones who approve of the next baby Emmett being murdered, sold, and then stirred around in a bowl, all in the name of abortion. My question to the American people, and more importantly Congress, is: what if you were baby Emmett?
