“We are thankful for those who continue to work tirelessly to bring attention to the extremely serious issues that have come to light about the murderous practices of Planned Parenthood.”
- Tim Wildmon
After thousands gathered in August to protest Planned Parenthood locations across the country, another round of protests is set for Saturday morning nationwide, and American Family Association has again signed on as a co-sponsor of the #ProtestPP effort.
More than 250 protests in nearly every state across the nation will kick off Saturday morning, Oct. 10, against the abortion giant. Those who plan to stand for the unborn and value the sanctity of life this weekend have plenty to protest, as a series of 10 damaging videos, detailing some of the barbaric practices of the nation’s largest abortion provider, has been released by the Center for Medical Progress.
“We are thankful for those who continue to work tirelessly to bring attention to the extremely serious issues that have come to light about the murderous practices of Planned Parenthood,” said AFA President Tim Wildmon. “AFA is proud to serve as a co-sponsor to the hundreds of peaceful protests happening around the country. The fact is that, even as lawmakers consider how to defund Planned Parenthood, action must be taken by every American who is concerned with the lives of the unborn. We pray that tens of thousands will line the streets of their communities to send the unified message that the lives of unborn children—God’s creations from conception—deserve to be protected.”
AFA has signed on as a co-sponsor for the protests, along with nearly 70 other groups, including Alliance Defending Freedom, Christian Defense Coalition, Family Research Council, Helping Hands Ministry, Hispanics for Life, Life Legal Defense Foundation, LifeNews.com, Live Action, Love of Truth Ministries, March for Life, Silent No More Awareness Campaign, STOPP International, The Restoration Project, and the Thomas More Society, among many others.
